Train
The nearest train station to Manteigas is Belmonte - Manteigas. From Lisbon or Porto, the "Intercidades", through the line of Beira Baixa to Belmonte is the best solution and, from there, follow to Manteigas, through the service MOBIFLEX.BSE, provided by the City Council of Manteigas. Reservations of the MOBIFLEX service must be made until 3:00 pm the day before - Phone: 800 222 804.

Bus
There are direct buses that connect the main cities such as Lisbon and Porto to the Central de Camionagem da Covilhã.
From Covilhã, Ginjal or Guarda, you can easily reach Manteigas with a local connection, either by taxi or even requesting (upon a budget) a transfer.
